The kanji 茶 “Sa” refers to tea, 住 “Ju” refers to living, which means “Living in a tea room”. The Japanese matcha tea ceremony represents harmony and peace. This is Saju Kyoto’s concept. May you find peace and harmony while relaxing in our traditional tea room-inspired hotel.

Accommodation

All guest rooms of Saju hotel were built with the standard of a traditional tea room, which consists of 4.5 tatami floor mats. The walls are built with stone and the ceiling and stairs are made with high quality wood. The smell of wood and stone gives you the impression of nature.
